TOURISM PROMOTION CONTEST
In partnership with
ASTOI (Association of Italian Tour Operators) and GIST (Italian Tourism Press Group)
Deadline for entries: APRIL 21, 2025
Participation is limited to Tourist Agencies and Italian and foreign Tour Operators that intend to show a vast and receptive public their projects realized between 2004 and 2025 with a marine environment theme. A selection of the works will be exhibited to the public and will be shown for the duration of "IL MARE A MILANO": nine days of art, entertainment and science, events and exhibitions relating to the sea, entirely free for visitors. The works received will contribute towards education and research programs and projects of the Civic Aquarium of Milan for the protection of marine environments.
The competition is divided into two categories:
VIDEO (Mini-Dv o DVD format)
PRINTED PUBLICATIONS (brochures, catalogues, guides, books etc. )
How to take part
Entries must be received no later than April 21, 2025 at:
IL MARE A MILANO c/o ACQUARIO CIVICO - ITALY
with the registration form duly completed and signed (download on bottom of this page)
Participation in the contest is free of charge.
Awarding of prizes
The panel of judges, made up of selected experts, will assign a single prize in each section.
Judges reserve the right to not assign awards or to assign special commendations. Awards, assigned at indisputable discretion of the judges, must be personally accepted by the author or by someone he/she selects for that purpose, the evening of Saturday 20 May 2025 at the Acquario Civico in Milan.
Return of entries
Submitted works, if not otherwise specified, will not be returned.
Warnings
In conformity with the copyright laws in force, the organisers will consider all work presented to be free of copyright protection. Authors participating in this competition therefore undertake to guarantee the organisers against any action that may be brought against them by any parties so entitled. Competition organisers will not be in any event be responsible in case of dispute. All authors authorise Verdeacqua and the Acquario Civico di Milano to use the work presented free of charge, for the present or future competitions and for teaching, scientific or other non-commercial only purposes, the only obligation being indication of the author's name. While ensuring maximum care and attention, the Organisation shall not be held responsible for loss of competition entries or damage thereto.
