The area in which the Aquarium of Milano is situated is called Parco Sempione. The Parco Sempione is in the center of Milano closed to the Sforzesco Castle.

Opening: from tuesday to sunday from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 5.30 PM - closed on monday
The Aquarium is closed for holydays on: 1st january, 1st may, 25th december.
In order not to damage the organisms, non professional purposes photos and video are allowed exclusively without the use of flash or lighting systems.
Professional purposes photo and video must preventively be authorized from the Managing.
Entrance is free
Subway - green line (linea verde - M2) LANZA stop. The Aquarium is just on the back side of the "Piccolo Teatro d'Europa" theater.
Tram 3, 4, 7, 12, 14 Piazzale Marengo stop
Tickets must be bought before boarding buses, trams or metros. You can buy tickets at newspaper stands or at the metro at the cost of 1 euro each and are valid for 75 minutes travel or 3 euro for a day ticket. Tickets must be stamped before boarding. A day ticket is valid for 24 hours from the time of stamping. Valid on all public transport.
Train
From the Central Railways Station (Stazione Centrale) or Garibaldi Railway Station (Stazione Garibaldi) take green line (linea verde - M2) subway. Take the direction Abbiategrasso and get off at LANZA stop (see subway above).
Plane
Landing at Milano Linate Airport: take bus n.73 to Piazza S. Babila, then take the red line subway (linea rossa - M1). Take the direction Bisceglie/Molino Dorino and get off at Cadorna Stazione Nord. Stay inside the subway station and reach the green line subway (linea verde - M2). Take the Cascina Gobba direction and get off (one stop only) at Lanza stop (see subway above). You can also have a short nice walk (800 m) from Cadorna Stazione Nord across the Sempione Park and the Sforzesco Castle. A little ahead you'll reach the Aquarium.
From Milano Malpensa Airport: take the Malpensa Express Bus to Milan (Cadorna Stazione Nord). Take the green line subway (linea verde - M2). Take the Cascina Gobba direction and get off (one stop only) at Lanza stop (see subway above). You can also have a short nice walk (800 m) from Cadorna Stazione Nord across the Sempione Park and the Sforzesco Castle. A little ahead you'll reach the Aquarium.
